The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature an under the cover variable frequency drive that offers exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, as well as a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor. Additional attributes include low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly and meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying factory load testing performed at 125% of rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
