The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and a push/pull trolley, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, fully featured hoists designed for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays lowering starts and hoist on time, a 5 pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and extends chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
