The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under-the-cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control with field-adjustable dual speeds, achieving up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which consists of a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral hour counting functionality to track the number of lowering starts and hoist operating time. Additionally, the hoists incorporate a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for cooler operation, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, constructed to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
