The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, featuring a motorized trolley that ensures high quality and low headroom. These full-featured hoists and trolleys are designed for reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key hoist attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which uses a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoists also feature a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a cooler motor and brake thanks to fan cooling, low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, adhere to RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley attributes include a highly durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that enhance trolley motion and minimize beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has undergone factory load testing at 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
