The NERP Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington incorporate a push/pull trolley with an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing excellent load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, which utilizes a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a fan cooled motor contributing to cooler operation of the motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340 and built in compliance with environmentally friendly RoHS requirements, exceeding ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, all hoists are provided with a test certificate verifying that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
