The Nerp Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley equipped with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control alongside field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. For enhanced performance, the hoist includes a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to its fan-cooled design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. This hoist is UL listed to UL 1340, complies with RoHS requirements, and exceeds the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
