The Nerm series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and include a motorized trolley, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys that deliver reliable performance in both everyday and harsh working environments. Key hoist features consist of "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which uses a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is activated, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist-on time. Additionally, the design includes a 5-pocket load sheave that minimizes vibration and prolongs chain life, a cooler motor and brake facilitated by a fan-cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340 and are built to be environmentally friendly, meeting RoHS requirements while exceeding the ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley features include a highly durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to ensure smoother trolley motion and decrease beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
