The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under-the-cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and allows for field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is powered, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that enables speed adjustability and includes integral hour functionality to track the number of lowering starts and hoist operation time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and prolong chain life, a fan-cooled motor for a cooler operating temperature, as well as low profile upper and lower limit switches and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with test certificates confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity per ASME B30.16 standards.
