The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe working conditions. Key features include "The Guardian," a smart brake technology employing a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized; a grade 80 nickel plated load chain; a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time; a 5-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life; a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor; low profile upper and lower limit switches; and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to environmentally friendly standards meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist comes with a test certificate verifying that it has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
