The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and demanding environments. The hoists include several key features such as "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is powered, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, they feature a five-pocket load sheave designed to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake thanks to the fan-cooled motor, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340 and are built to meet environmentally friendly RoHS requirements while exceeding ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
