The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control with field adjustable two speeds offering up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key attributes include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, and a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. Additionally, the variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and includes integral hour counting functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for a cooler operating temperature, and low profile upper and lower limit switches. The hoists come with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. They are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly adhering to RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming that it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
