The NERM series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features advanced technology with a motorized trolley, providing high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists and trolleys for reliable performance in various working environments. Key features of the hoist include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which employs a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5-pocket load sheave that reduces vibration and extends chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, as well as low profile upper and lower limit switches, along with plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly with RoHS compliance, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Trolley features consist of a durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that enhance trolley motion and minimize beam wear. Additionally, all hoists come with a test certificate verifying that they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity in accordance with ASME B30.16.
