The NER Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Notable features include "The Guardian," which is smart brake technology utilizing a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design also includes a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor that contributes to cooler operation of both motor and brake, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, all hoists come with a test certificate confirming that they have been factory load tested to 125% of their rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
