The Nerm Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a motorized trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive hoist, delivering exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a maximum speed ratio of 12:1. Key features of the hoist include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability along with an integral hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist operational time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a fan-cooled motor for improved cooling of the motor and brake, and low profile upper and lower limit switches. The plug-in pendant and power supply cords enhance usability. The hoist and trolley are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Additionally, the trolley boasts a robust pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers, contributing to smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is supplied with a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
