The Nerm Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a motorized trolley equipped with an under the cover variable frequency drive hoist, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a Grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability and integral hour counting functionality, recording the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The hoist is designed with a 5-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled motor, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. Both the hoist and trolley are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley features a highly durable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to ensure smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. All hoists come with a test certificate verifying that the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
