The Nerp Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington feature a push/pull trolley and an under the cover variable frequency drive that provides exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian": Smart Brake Technology, a current driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged unless the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that allows for speed adjustability alongside integral count hour functionality which records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design includes a 5 pocket load sheave to minimize vibration, enhances chain longevity, a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor, low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, built environmentally friendly to meet RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist includes a test certificate confirming factory load testing at 125% of the rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
