The Nerp series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology and feature a push/pull trolley, resulting in high quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that ensure reliable performance in both routine and severe environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, which utilizes a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, as well as grade 80 nickel plated load chain, a count hour meter that records and displays lowering starts and hoist operating time, and a 5 pocket load sheave designed to minimize vibration and extend chain life. Additionally, the hoists feature a cooler motor and brake due to the fan-cooled design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly as they meet RoHS requirements, and exceed ASME H4 duty rating. Each hoist is accompanied by a test certificate confirming it has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
