The Nerp Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington features a push/pull trolley with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive, providing exceptional load control and field-adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key attributes include "The Guardian," which is a smart brake technology employing a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive allowing for speed adjustability along with integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a five-pocket load sheave to minimize vibration and extend the chain's lifespan, a fan-cooled motor contributing to a cooler motor and brake, low-profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340 and manufactured in an environmentally friendly manner to meet RoHS requirements, exceeding the ASME H4 duty rating.
