The Nerm Dual Speed series of electric chain hoists from Harrington includes a motorized trolley equipped with an under-the-cover variable frequency drive hoist, delivering exceptional load control and adjustable two speeds with a speed ratio of up to 12:1. Key features encompass "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that remains engaged until the motor is energized, grade 80 nickel plated load chain, and a variable frequency drive that enables speed adjustability and integral hour counting functionality, recording and displaying the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. Additionally, the hoist features a 5-pocket load sheave for reduced vibration and extended chain life, a cooler motor and brake owing to its fan-cooled design, low profile upper and lower limit switches, and plug-in pendant and power supply cords. The hoist and trolley are UL listed to UL 1340, comply with RoHS environmental standards, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating. Further trolley features include a robust pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers that enhance trolley motion and minimize beam wear. Each hoist comes with a test certificate confirming it has undergone factory load testing at 125% of its rated capacity, in compliance with ASME B30.16.
