The NERM Dual Speed Series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are equipped with a motorized trolley featuring an under the cover variable frequency drive hoist, providing exceptional load control and field adjustable two speeds with up to a 12:1 speed ratio. Key features include "The Guardian," which is smart brake technology utilizing a current driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, along with a grade 80 nickel plated load chain. The variable frequency drive allows for speed adjustability and includes integral count hour functionality to record and display the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a 5 pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, and a cooler motor and brake due to the fan cooled motor. Also featured are low profile upper and lower limit switches, as well as plug in pendant and power supply cords. The hoist and trolley are UL listed to UL 1340, built to be environmentally friendly and meet RoHS requirements, exceeding the ASME H4 duty rating. The trolley includes a durable and reliable pull-rotor brake, drop stops, rubber bumpers, and side guide rollers to ensure smoother trolley motion and reduced beam wear. Each hoist is provided with a test certificate verifying the hoist has been factory load tested to 125% of its rated capacity, in accordance with ASME B30.16.
