The NER series of electric chain hoists from Harrington are engineered with advanced technology, resulting in high-quality, low headroom, full-featured hoists that deliver reliable performance in both routine and severe working environments. Key features include "The Guardian" smart brake technology, a current-driven electromagnetic brake that only releases when the motor is energized, a grade 80 nickel-plated load chain, and a count hour meter that records and displays the number of lowering starts and hoist on time. The design incorporates a five-pocket load sheave to reduce vibration and extend chain life, a cooler motor and brake attributed to the fan-cooled motor, and low-profile upper and lower limit switches. Additionally, plug-in pendant and power supply cords enhance usability. These hoists are UL listed to UL 1340, environmentally friendly by meeting RoHS requirements, and exceed the ASME H4 duty rating.
