The collapsible sheet metal steel handling containers feature a zinc-galv finish and are engineered for heavy industrial use. The container measures 40-1/2" x 34-1/2" x 32" in upright height and collapses to 14-1/4" for efficient space saving during shipping. It holds a load capacity of 3200 lbs and can be stacked up to five containers high in a warehouse when loaded, three high for truck shipments when upright, and seven high when collapsed for returnable shipping. The inside usable volume is 18 cubic feet. The container features half-drop gates on both 34-1/2" sides, with all four sides constructed from 16 gauge sheet metal reinforced with strengthening forms, while the floor consists of sheet metal on a tubing base structure. A full 53' truckload can carry 108 containers upright or 252 containers when collapsed. The containers are inter-stackable with other 40.5" x 34.5" steel containers.
