Tough Guy U-Tube heaters are designed for high heat loss areas or spot heating, offering fuel savings of up to 50%. They feature a positive pressure system that pressurizes the combustion chamber and are constructed with heat-treated aluminized steel emitter tubes. All gas, electrical, and flue connections are conveniently located at the same end of the heater. The system includes reliable direct spark ignition and a 100% gas shut-off safety control, with up to 40 feet of ducting for fresh air or sidewall venting capability. The blower, positioned inside the burner box, operates at minimal noise levels (less than 60dB) and is equipped with a heavy-duty permanently lubricated ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation. Additional features include highly efficient aluminum reflectors, a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, and a burner inspection sight glass, as well as a diagnostic monitoring light system. The unit requires a 120V supply and offers external 24V thermostat connection or line voltage operation. The Tough Guy series is suitable for applications in car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, dairy barns, and other high humidity environments. The heaters are CSA certified and have a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit, and they are made in the USA.
