Tough Guy straight tube heaters are designed for complete building heating and are suitable for high humidity or corrosive environments. The emitter tubes are constructed from heat-treated aluminized steel. The vacuum system efficiently pulls products of combustion through the combustion chamber to enhance radiant efficiency and safety. Features include reliable direct spark ignition and 100% gas shut-off safety control. The heaters offer up to 50' of ducting for fresh air and 75' for sidewall venting, and the vacuum system comprises a totally enclosed combustion chamber. The heavy-duty draft inducer assembly includes a permanently lubricated, totally enclosed ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation, while highly efficient aluminum reflectors are provided. The kit includes a diaphragm air switch, heavy-duty cast iron burner, and burner inspection sight glass, along with a diagnostic monitoring light system. A 120V supply is required for operation. Minimum mounting heights are specified for human comfort and uniform energy distribution in building applications, with recommendations to mount heaters as high as possible. The Tough Guy series is ideal for car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, dairy barns, and other high humidity environments. The heaters are CSA certified and have a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit, with the product made in the USA.
