Tough Guy U-Tube heaters are designed for high heat loss and spot heating applications, suitable for installation in high humidity or corrosive environments. The emitter tubes are constructed from heat-treated aluminized steel, and the vacuum system efficiently pulls products of combustion through the combustion chamber, enhancing radiant efficiency and safety. The heaters feature reliable direct spark ignition and 100% gas shut-off safety control, with capabilities of up to 50 feet of ducting for fresh air and 75 feet of sidewall venting. The vacuum system includes a totally enclosed combustion chamber, a heavy-duty draft inducer assembly with a permanently lubricated ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation, and highly efficient aluminum reflectors. Each unit comes equipped with a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, and a burner inspection sight glass, along with a diagnostic monitoring light system. The heaters require a 120V supply and are ideal for use in car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, dairy barns, and other high humidity environments. They are CSA certified and backed by a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit, with all products made in the USA.
