Tough Guy straight tube heaters are designed for complete building heating and can be installed in high humidity or corrosive environments. The heater features emitter tubes made of heat-treated aluminized steel, with a vacuum system that pulls products of combustion through the combustion chamber to enhance radiant efficiency and safety. It includes reliable direct spark ignition and 100% gas shut-off safety control, allowing for up to 50' of ducting in fresh air and 75' sidewall venting capability. The vacuum system is equipped with a totally enclosed combustion chamber, while the heavy-duty draft inducer assembly features a permanently lubricated, totally enclosed ball-bearing motor for maintenance-free operation. The heaters are also fitted with highly efficient aluminum reflectors, diaphragm air switch, heavy-duty cast iron burner, and burner inspection sight glass, along with a diagnostic monitoring light system. A 120V supply is required, and minimum mounting heights are specified for human comfort and uniform energy distribution in complete building applications. Tough Guy series heaters are ideal for use in car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, waste water treatment plants, dairy barns, and other high humidity environments. They are CSA certified and come with a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit, all made in the USA.
