The Tough Guy straight tube heaters are designed for complete building heating and offer fuel savings of up to 50%. Featuring a positive pressure system that pressurizes the combustion chamber, these heaters utilize emitter tubes made of heat-treated aluminized steel. All gas and electrical connections are located at the same end of the heater, ensuring easy access. They provide reliable direct spark ignition and a 100% gas shut-off safety control. The heaters support up to 40' of ducting for fresh air or sidewall venting and have a blower located inside the burner box, making them ideal for applications where minimal noise (less than 60dB) is desired. A heavy-duty, permanently lubricated ball bearing blower motor ensures maintenance-free operation, while highly efficient aluminum reflectors enhance performance. The kit includes a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, and a burner inspection sight glass, along with a diagnostic monitoring light system. A 120V supply is required, and it offers the option for external 24V thermostat connection or line voltage operation. Recommended minimum mounting heights are specified for human comfort and uniform energy distribution, making the Tough Guy series suitable for various high humidity environments such as car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, and dairy barns. It is CSA certified, made in the USA, and comes with a 5-year limited warranty on tubes as well as a 1-year limited warranty on the unit.
