Tough Guy straight tube heaters are designed for complete building heating and suitable for high humidity or corrosive environments. The kit includes heat-treated aluminized steel emitter tubes and a vacuum system that pulls combustion products through the combustion chamber to enhance radiant efficiency and safety. It features reliable direct spark ignition, 100% gas shut-off safety control, and up to 50' of ducting for fresh air as well as 75' sidewall venting capability. The vacuum system incorporates a totally enclosed combustion chamber and a heavy-duty draft inducer assembly with a permanently lubricated, totally enclosed ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation. The efficient aluminum reflectors, diaphragm air switch, heavy-duty cast iron burner, and burner inspection sight glass are included, along with a diagnostic monitoring light system. A 120V supply is required, and the minimum mounting heights are specified for optimal human comfort and uniform energy distribution. The Tough Guy series is specifically effective for applications such as car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, and dairy barns. It is CSA certified and comes with a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit, proudly made in the USA.
