Straight tube heaters are designed for comprehensive building heating, utilizing a vacuum system that efficiently pulls combustion products through the combustion chamber to enhance radiant efficiency and safety. The heaters feature reliable direct spark ignition and a 100% gas shut-off safety control, accommodating up to 50 feet of ducting for fresh air and 75 feet for sidewall venting. The vacuum system includes a totally enclosed combustion chamber and a heavy-duty draft inducer assembly with a permanently lubricated, totally enclosed ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation. Efficient aluminum reflectors are part of the design, along with a diaphragm air switch, heavy-duty cast iron burner, and burner inspection sight glass. A diagnostic monitoring light system is incorporated, requiring a 120V supply. Minimum mounting heights are specified for human comfort and uniform energy distribution in complete building applications, with recommendations for mounting as high as possible. The product is CSA certified and is backed by a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit, all while being made in the USA.
