Tough Guy U-Tube heaters are designed for high heat loss and spot heating applications, suitable for installation in high humidity or corrosive environments. The kit includes emitter tubes made of heat-treated aluminized steel and features a vacuum system that pulls products of combustion through the combustion chamber to enhance radiant efficiency and safety. The unit is equipped with reliable direct spark ignition and 100% gas shut-off safety control, accommodating up to 50' of ducting for fresh air and 75' for sidewall venting. It features a totally enclosed combustion chamber along with a heavy-duty draft inducer assembly that includes a permanently lubricated, totally enclosed ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation. Additional features include highly efficient aluminum reflectors, a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, a burner inspection sight glass, and a diagnostic monitoring light system. A 120V supply is required. The Tough Guy series is particularly effective in applications such as car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, and dairy barns. The product is CSA certified and offers a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit, proudly made in the USA.
