U-Tubes tube heaters are designed for high heat loss or spot heating, offering fuel savings of up to 50%. The system features a positive pressure design that pressurizes the combustion chamber, ensuring safety and efficiency. All gas, electrical, and flue connections are located at the same end of the heater, facilitating installation. The unit boasts reliable direct spark ignition with 100% gas shut-off safety control and supports up to 40' of ducting for fresh air intake or 40' of sidewall venting. The blower, strategically positioned inside the burner box, operates at a noise level of less than 60dB, making it suitable for applications where minimal noise is necessary. It includes a heavy-duty permanently lubricated ball bearing blower motor for maintenance-free operation, along with highly efficient aluminum reflectors. Additional components consist of a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, and a burner inspection sight glass, supplemented by a diagnostic monitoring light system for troubleshooting. The heater requires a 120V supply and can be connected to an external 24V thermostat or operated via line voltage.
