The Tough Guy U-Tube heaters are designed for high heat loss areas or spot heating, offering fuel savings up to 50%. They feature a positive pressure system that pressurizes the combustion chamber and are constructed with heat-treated aluminized steel emitter tubes. All gas, electrical, and flue connections are conveniently located at the same end of the heater. The unit includes reliable direct spark ignition and a 100% gas shut-off safety control, along with the capability of up to 40 feet of ducting for fresh air or 40 feet of sidewall venting. The blower, located inside the burner box, operates at minimal noise levels (less than 60dB) and is powered by a heavy-duty, permanently lubricated ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation. The heater also incorporates highly efficient aluminum reflectors, a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, a burner inspection sight glass, and a diagnostic monitoring light system. A 120V supply is required, with options for external 24V thermostat connection or line voltage operation. This series is suitable for various applications, including car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, and dairy barns, especially in high humidity environments. The product is CSA certified and comes with a five-year limited warranty on the tubes and a one-year limited warranty on the unit. It is manufactured in the USA.
