The Tough Guy straight tube heaters are designed for complete building heating and offer fuel savings of up to 50%. They feature a positive pressure system that pressurizes the combustion chamber and are constructed with heat-treated aluminized steel emitter tubes. All gas and electrical connections are positioned at the same end of the heater. The unit includes reliable direct spark ignition and a 100% gas shut-off safety control. With capabilities for up to 40' of ducting in fresh air or 40' sidewall venting, the blower located inside the burner box operates at a noise level of less than 60dB. A heavy-duty, permanently lubricated ball bearing blower motor ensures maintenance-free operation, while highly efficient aluminum reflectors, a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, and a burner inspection sight glass contribute to its functionality. The diagnostic monitoring light system enhances usability, and the heater requires a 120V supply with options for external 24V thermostat connection or line voltage operation. Minimum mounting heights have been specified to ensure human comfort and uniform energy distribution, making the Tough Guy series suitable for car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, dairy barns, and other high humidity environments. This product is CSA certified and is manufactured in the USA, with a 5-year limited warranty on tubes and a 1-year limited warranty on the unit.
