The Tough Guy U-Tube heaters are engineered for high heat loss areas or spot heating, offering fuel savings of up to 50%. Featuring a positive pressure system that pressurizes the combustion chamber, these heaters are constructed with emitter tubes made of heat-treated aluminized steel. All gas, electrical, and flue connections are conveniently located at one end of the unit. The heater is equipped with reliable direct spark ignition and a 100% gas shut-off safety control. It supports up to 40 feet of ducting for fresh air intake or 40 feet of sidewall venting capability. The blower is housed inside the burner box, designed for applications where minimal noise (less than 60dB) is a priority. Additionally, it includes a heavy-duty permanently lubricated ball bearing blower motor for maintenance-free operation and highly efficient aluminum reflectors. The kit includes a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner, and a burner inspection sight glass, along with a diagnostic monitoring light system. It requires a 120V supply, supports external 24V thermostat connection, or can operate on line voltage. The Tough Guy series is suitable for various environments, including car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, and dairy barns, particularly in high humidity conditions.
