The Tough Guy straight tube heaters are designed for complete building heating and are suitable for installation in high humidity or corrosive environments, offering fuel savings of up to 70%. The emitter tubes are constructed from heat-treated aluminized steel, and the vacuum system effectively pulls combustion products through the combustion chamber, enhancing radiant efficiency and safety. The heaters feature reliable direct spark ignition and 100% gas shut-off safety control. They support up to 50 feet of ducting for fresh air and 75 feet of sidewall venting. The vacuum system includes a totally enclosed combustion chamber, and the heavy-duty draft inducer assembly is equipped with a permanently lubricated, totally enclosed ball bearing motor for maintenance-free operation. Additional features include highly efficient aluminum reflectors, a diaphragm air switch, a heavy-duty cast iron burner with a burner inspection sight glass, and a diagnostic monitoring light system. A 120V supply is required, and the heaters should be mounted as high as possible for optimal comfort and energy distribution. They are suitable for use in car washes, greenhouses, swimming pools, wastewater treatment plants, dairy barns, and other high humidity areas.
