The Modine 193000 BTU steam or hot water unit heater features an explosion-proof motor and is designed for horizontal airflow. It includes top and bottom steel female pipe connections, allowing for 360° rotation without the need for piping changes, copper tubes, aluminum fins, adjustable louvers, a balanced fan, and a fan guard. The unit is equipped with a motor and electrical junction box, and its 2-piece casing facilitates easy coil access. HSB models come with tapped holes for suspension via threaded rod or an optional pipe hanger adapter kit. The serpentine copper tube coil design offers high resistance to thermal shock, even under high steam pressures, while the absence of coil headers reduces the potential for leaks and increases the coil face area without enlarging the unit size. Additionally, the coil is designed for greater water carrying capacity with lower friction loss. This heater is CSA certified, made in the U.S.A., and comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
