The Modine 29000 BTU steam or hot water unit heater with explosion proof motor features a horizontal airflow design and includes top and bottom steel female pipe connections that allow the unit to be rotated 360° without the need for piping changes. It is equipped with copper tubes and aluminum fins, adjustable louvers, a balanced fan, a fan guard, and a motor and electrical junction box. The unit has a two-piece casing for easy access to the coil and HSB models feature tapped holes for suspension by threaded rod or an optional pipe hanger adapter kit. The serpentine copper tube coil design offers high resistance to thermal shock, even under high steam pressures, while the absence of coil headers reduces potential leaks and increases coil face area without enlarging the unit. Additionally, the coil is engineered for greater water carrying capacity with lower friction loss. This product is CSA certified, made in the U.S.A., and comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
