The Modine 18000 BTU steam or hot water unit heater with explosion-proof motor features a horizontal design with top and bottom piping connections, making it ideal for heating large open areas and spaces with low ceilings. This unit includes an electrical junction box, either integrated into the motor or mounted on the unit casing for straightforward electrical connections. It utilizes carefully selected motors, fans, and scientifically designed Venturi fan shrouds for quiet operation. The lightweight construction allows for quick and low-cost installation, while its rugged build ensures durability against handling and job site abuse. It is equipped with adjustable horizontal air-deflector blades, with optional vertical blades for complete air-direction control. The heater has squared-off corners for a smooth appearance, enclosed motors protected against thermal overload, and statically and dynamically balanced fans.
