The Modine 108000 BTU steam or hot water unit heater with explosion proof motor, model HSB108, is designed for horizontal airflow and features top and bottom steel female pipe connections, allowing for 360° rotation without the need for piping changes. Constructed with copper tubes and aluminum fins, it includes adjustable louvers, a balanced fan, a fan guard, and a motor with an electrical junction box. The unit has a two-piece casing for easy access to the coil and is equipped with tapped holes for suspension by threaded rod or an optional pipe hanger adapter kit. Its serpentine copper tube coil design provides high resistance to thermal shock under high steam pressures, while the absence of coil headers reduces the risk of leaks and increases the coil face area without enlarging the unit's dimensions. The coil is designed to carry greater water capacity with lower friction loss. The heater is CSA certified, made in the U.S.A., and comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
