The Modine 165,000 BTU steam or hot water unit heater with an explosion proof motor features horizontal airflow and top and bottom steel female pipe connections, allowing for 360° rotation without requiring piping changes. It is constructed with copper tubes and aluminum fins, adjustable louvers, a balanced fan, and includes a fan guard along with a motor and electrical junction box. The unit has a 2-piece casing for easy coil access and HSB models come with tapped holes for suspension via threaded rod or an optional pipe hanger adapter kit. The serpentine copper tube coil design offers high resistance to thermal shock, even under high steam pressures, while the absence of coil headers helps eliminate potential leaks and increases coil face area without enlarging the unit. The coil is designed for greater water carrying capacity with lower friction loss. This product is CSA certified and proudly made in the U.S.A., and it comes with a 1-year limited warranty.
