Goff's bug blocking mesh screen doors are designed to keep insects out while allowing fresh air in. The kit includes a heavy 11 oz pre-coated woven vinyl coated mesh polyester screen that is resistant to ultraviolet rays as well as rot, tear, and mildew. The 17 x 11 polyester scrim provides small openings that make it difficult for insects to penetrate, and the shade screen factor improvement of 65% helps keep non-air-conditioned spaces cooler for longer. The 18 oz vinyl on the leading edge, valance, and floor sweep enhances wear and durability, while the valance is mounted to the building for improved stability. A full-length fiberglass tube reinforces the leading edge, ensuring a proper seal against the door jamb. The mesh curtain permanently attaches to one vertical edge of the door and closes to the opposite side, with top valance panels and a bottom floor sweep forming a near total insect protection seal. The pliable hem on the leading edge guarantees a good seal to the jam, and the installation includes a track with a dual wheeled trolley roller system for easy sliding.
