Goff's bug blocking mesh screen doors are designed to keep insects out while allowing fresh air to circulate, featuring a heavy 11 oz pre-coated woven vinyl coated mesh polyester that is resistant to ultraviolet rays, rot, tear, and mildew. The 17 x 11 polyester scrim creates small openings that are difficult for insects to penetrate, with a shade screen factor improvement of 65% to help maintain cooler temperatures in non-air-conditioned spaces. The product incorporates 18 oz vinyl on the leading edge, valance, and floor sweep for enhanced wear and durability, and the valance mounts directly to the building to provide improved stability. A full-length fiberglass tube stiffens the leading edge of the curtain for effective sealing against the door jamb, while the mesh curtain permanently attaches to one side and closes to the opposite, forming a complete seal with top valance panels and a bottom floor sweep. A pliable hem on the leading edge ensures a good seal, and the system glides side-to-side on an easy-to-install track with a dual-wheeled trolley roller system.
