The screen features a 17 x 11 polyester scrim with small openings that deter insect penetration, while a shade screen factor improvement of 65% helps maintain cooler temperatures in non-air conditioned spaces. The leading edge, valance, and floor sweep are made from durable 18 oz vinyl for improved wear, and the valance mounts to the building for enhanced stability. A full-length fiberglass tube reinforces the leading edge to ensure a seal against the door jamb. The mesh curtain attaches permanently to one side of the door's vertical edge and closes to the opposite side, with top valance panels and a bottom floor sweep providing a near total seal against insects. The pliable hem on the leading edge ensures a secure fit, while the curtain glides smoothly on an easy-to-install track with a dual wheeled trolley roller system.
