The screen utilizes a 17 x 11 polyester scrim to create small openings that are difficult for insects to penetrate, while the shade screen factor improvement of 65% helps to keep non-air conditioned plant spaces cooler for longer. Constructed with 18 oz vinyl on the leading edge, valance, and floor sweep, the doors enhance wear and durability. The valance is mounted to the building, rather than the curtain track, for improved stability, and a full-length fiberglass tube stiffens the curtain's leading edge to ensure a proper seal to the door jamb. The mesh curtain attaches permanently to one side of the door's vertical edge and closes to the opposite side, with top valance panels and a bottom floor sweep creating a complete seal against insects.
