The Bilco® S-20 powder coated roof hatch measures 36"x30" and is Miami-Dade approved, featuring engineered compression spring operators for smooth, easy, one-hand operation. It includes an automatic hold-open arm that locks the cover in the open position, ensuring safe egress. The design incorporates an overlapping cover, fully welded corners on both the cover and curb, an EPDM rubber gasket, and a fully insulated cover and curb, all contributing to its weathertightness and energy efficiency. The powder coating enhances durability by preventing destructive materials from penetrating the surface and resists corrosion and abrasion, making it suitable for harsh environments. The heavy gauge construction and positive latching mechanism bolster building security, while the curb is equipped with the Bil-Clip® flashing system, providing an innovative solution for securely attaching single-ply roofing material to Bilco roof products. It is specifically designed for installation over fixed ladders.
