The kit includes a cast aluminum housing and wheels, designed to be spark resistant and compliant with AMCA type B spark resistant construction standards. This material is corrosion resistant in outdoor environments and significantly lighter, weighing only 1/3 of carbon steel fans, which reduces the need for extensive structural support during installation. The cast aluminum maintains its strength in cold conditions, making it more durable compared to materials that become brittle. The standard discharge position is bottom horizontal, but options for upblast, top horizontal, or downblast discharge are available upon request at the time of order placement. All sizes of the unit can operate at a maximum temperature of 150 degrees F. Applications for this kit include vehicle fume exhaust removal in garages and fire stations, material conveying of non-abrasive light particulates, cooling in UV light curing equipment, providing high-pressure air for air knife blow-off applications, supplying combustion air for gas burners, and generating suction pressure for hold down tables in the printing process on corrugated packaging materials. The cast aluminum construction also makes it ideal for electronic applications, as it resists magnetism and minimizes interference issues.
