The kit features cast aluminum housings and wheels, which are spark resistant and comply with AMCA Type B spark resistant construction standards. The corrosion-resistant cast aluminum is lightweight, weighing only one-third as much as carbon steel fans, thus requiring less structural support for mounting. This material becomes stronger in cold conditions, is non-magnetic, and has a standard discharge position that is upblast, with additional options for upblast, top horizontal, or downblast available upon request at the time of order. All sizes of the fans can operate at a maximum temperature of 150 degrees F. The package is designed for applications such as vehicle fume exhaust removal in garages and fire stations, material conveying of dust and non-abrasive light particulates, providing cooling in UV light curing equipment, serving as a high-pressure air source for air knife blow-off applications, supplying combustion air for gas burners, and creating suction pressure for hold down tables during the printing process on corrugated packaging materials. Its ideal usage in electronic applications is enhanced by the non-magnetic properties of cast aluminum, which helps reduce interference issues.
