The kit includes housings and wheels constructed from cast aluminum, which is spark resistant and complies with AMCA Type B spark resistant construction standards. This lightweight material, being one-third the weight of carbon steel fans, requires less structural support when mounted and is corrosion resistant in outdoor environments. Cast aluminum becomes stronger in cold temperatures, is non-magnetic, and maintains operational suitability up to a maximum of 150 degrees F. The standard discharge position is upblast, with options available for top horizontal or downblast configurations upon request at the time of order placement. Applications for this product include vehicle fume exhaust removal in garages and fire stations, material conveying of dust and non-abrasive light particulates, cooling in UV light curing equipment, high-pressure air source for air knife blow-off applications, combustion air for gas burners, and suction pressure for hold down tables during the printing process on corrugated packaging materials. This product is also ideal for electronic applications due to its resistance to magnetism, reducing interference issues. All installations must be conducted by a licensed electrical contractor.
