The kit includes cast aluminum housings and wheels that are spark resistant and meet the conditions of AMCA Type B spark resistant construction, making them suitable for outdoor environments due to their corrosion resistance. The lightweight nature of cast aluminum, being 1/3 the weight of carbon steel fans, requires less structural support when mounted. Additionally, this material exhibits increased strength in cold temperatures rather than becoming brittle and weak like some other construction materials. The cast aluminum is also non-magnetic, which is beneficial for electronic applications as it minimizes interference issues. The standard discharge position is upblast, with options available for upblast, top horizontal, or downblast upon request at the time of order placement. All sizes within this kit are designed for operation at a maximum temperature of 150 degrees F. The product is made in the USA and is applicable for vehicle fume exhaust removal in garages and fire stations, material conveying of dust and non-abrasive light particulates, cooling in UV light curing equipment, providing high-pressure air for air knife blow-off applications, supplying combustion air for gas burners, and creating suction pressure for hold down tables during the printing process on corrugated packaging materials. Installation must be performed by a licensed electrical contractor.
