The kit includes a cast aluminum housing and wheels, which are spark resistant and comply with AMCA type B spark resistant construction standards. The corrosion-resistant cast aluminum is lightweight, being one-third the weight of carbon steel fans, which reduces the need for additional structural support during installation. This material exhibits increased strength in cold environments while remaining non-magnetic, which minimizes magnetic interference in electronic applications. The standard discharge position is top horizontal, with options available for upblast or downblast configurations upon request. All sizes within the kit can operate at a maximum temperature of 150 degrees F. Applications include vehicle fume exhaust removal in garages and fire stations, material conveying of dust and light non-abrasive particulates, cooling in UV light curing equipment, serving as a high-pressure air source for air knife blow-off applications, providing combustion air for gas burners, and offering suction pressure for hold down tables during printing processes on corrugated packaging materials.
